UFC GOAT Boards

Every fight scored with opponent's rank at fight time: base × quality × age × finish × era, plus short-notice discounts, prime-elite bonuses, age-scaled losses, and robbery corrections. Pre-2013 fights use consensus-standing equivalents (no official rankings existed).

Rules v7

UFC + WEC fights only, except the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight boards also include PRIDE fights contested in those divisions (regional scene, openweight bouts outside the board fighter's division, and other promotions excluded) · BASE by opponent rank at fight time: UFC title fight 8 (unification & cross-division 2nd belt = 8 too) · interim title 7 · WEC/PRIDE title 6 (= #1 contender weight) · #1 contender 6 · top 5 win 5 · ranked (6–15) 4 · unranked 2
ERA: pre-2000 ×.8 · 2000s ×.85 · 2010–14 ×.9 · 2015–19 ×.95 · 2020s (post-COVID) ×1.0
QUALITY REMOVED — rank sets the value · SHORT NOTICE opp ×.8 · WON ON SHORT NOTICE ×1.25 · REMATCH WIN (already beat them) ×.8 · THIN CHALLENGER (shot earned off 1–2 wins / TUF parachute / debut) ×.75 · PRIME ELITE (curated: great fighter in their prime) ×1.3
FINISH: dec ×1.0 · sub/TKO ×1.25 · KO ×1.4 · R1 ×1.5 (cap 1.6)
LOSSES (better-opp rule removed): dec −2 · finish −6 · to a can −10 — scaled by each fighter's PEAK WINDOW STEPPED UP IN WEIGHT loss ×.8 · SHORT-NOTICE loss ×.5 · FREAK INJURY loss ×.5 · PEAK = 5-year window from arrival: inside it ×1.5 · then ×.9 per 2 yrs past (·.9, ·.81, ·.73…) · pre-peak ×.25 · DQ/NC thrown out
ROBBERY: official winner keeps 25% · robbed fighter's penalty erased + half win credit
H2H TIEBREAKER: fighters within 3 pts — a head-to-head win (any era) takes the higher spot
BEST-WIN FLOOR: a career can't score below its single best win, if that win was worth 6+ — the number in parentheses is what the record actually totals
OVERALL BOARD: dual-division fighters are merged into one FULL CAREER card · cross-division 2nd belt = base 15 · PED penalties bypass peak scaling
